Summer Randomness

Woops, I haven't updated in a while!

Here are two things I made for father's day. My dad asked me to draw a little something for a golf charity event for Autism that my dad helped raise money for! One of their sponsors makes lion head covers for golf clubs, so that explains this drawing.

And he loves Recognizers from Tron, so I surprised him with a little oil painting. :)

Here is a practice painting for an oil painting a friend of mine is commissioning me for. Just spent like an hour on it so I could figure out how I'm gonna paint the real thing! haha

I've been trying to draw at starbucks a few times a week!

I haven't been able to figure draw very much this summer though :/

Starbucks Siren

So the other day I was looking at the starbucks logo, and I was thinking to myself...hm....I wonder what it's supposed to be.

I did a google search and apparently it's supposed to be a Siren, a two tailed mermaid.

I decided to draw the full body version of the logo, enjoy~

Lammergeiers.

Lammergerier Voltures are awesome, and so is animal planet. I have missed cable.

I really need to draw more guys.

Vis Dev & More

So this year I have discovered my love for Visual Development and character design. It combines my love for painting, design, and animation. I have a lot of work to do this summer to improve, but it will be fun.

First is my style guide that I made for my VisDev class at Calarts with the amazing Lisa Keene.

Next are just some drawings I have done the past week since being home for summer. Expect hopefully at least a post a week, or more. :)

There was this commercial on tv about a cat treat that is only 2 calories...did you know cats count calories too?

I've Been Watching Too Many Princess Movies

Well, for the past week I have been recovering from getting my wisdom teeth pulled, and I was finally up for drawing yesterday. It feels so great to draw again, a week felt like forever haha.

And a random girl haha. I need to work on drawing guys. :/
