Husky Pup

I'm sorry to post yet another dog drawing, but I played with a husky puppy this weekend and I couldn't help but draw one!

Luna Lovegood

Another favorite, Luna Lovegood. Okay this is the last of HP fanart, I promise.

Snape, Snape, Severus Snape

Snape will forever live in my heart.

Summer Randomness

Woops, I haven't updated in a while!

Here are two things I made for father's day. My dad asked me to draw a little something for a golf charity event for Autism that my dad helped raise money for! One of their sponsors makes lion head covers for golf clubs, so that explains this drawing.

And he loves Recognizers from Tron, so I surprised him with a little oil painting. :)

Here is a practice painting for an oil painting a friend of mine is commissioning me for. Just spent like an hour on it so I could figure out how I'm gonna paint the real thing! haha

I've been trying to draw at starbucks a few times a week!

I haven't been able to figure draw very much this summer though :/

And a random speed painting using reference (that wasn't done very fast...) haha

Starbucks Siren

So the other day I was looking at the starbucks logo, and I was thinking to myself...hm....I wonder what it's supposed to be.

I did a google search and apparently it's supposed to be a Siren, a two tailed mermaid.

I decided to draw the full body version of the logo, enjoy~

Lammergeiers.

Lammergerier Voltures are awesome, and so is animal planet. I have missed cable.

I really need to draw more guys.

Vis Dev & More

So this year I have discovered my love for Visual Development and character design. It combines my love for painting, design, and animation. I have a lot of work to do this summer to improve, but it will be fun.

First is my style guide that I made for my VisDev class at Calarts with the amazing Lisa Keene.

Next are just some drawings I have done the past week since being home for summer. Expect hopefully at least a post a week, or more. :)

There was this commercial on tv about a cat treat that is only 2 calories...did you know cats count calories too?

An Update?

Well films are over, it was quite an experience. I had a lot of fun, but I'm really looking forward to next year. I'm planning on doing a lot of concept work this summer!

Anyway, here is a little animation I did for the producer's show this year. I added a background for fun.

Sorry the colors got all weird.

2011 CalArts Portoflio

I have been spending a lot of time on this, it was a lot of fun!

Now back to the film!

Gliding Possums

This will be my last post for a while! I really need to crack down on my film.

Just some random drawings, a few life drawings, and zoo drawings. :)

Also a little sugar glider (Did you know they were called small gliding possums?) sketch I did last night.

Panthers are Pretty

These were made for the gallery show. And this is a larger version of my new banner.

I need to work on my film haha.

Also a random 5 frame animation made in Digital Methods, practicing animation in photoshop.

Random Sketches

Some film sketches and other random drawings I did today.

I can't wait till school starts again. :)

I've Been Watching Too Many Princess Movies

Well, for the past week I have been recovering from getting my wisdom teeth pulled, and I was finally up for drawing yesterday. It feels so great to draw again, a week felt like forever haha.

And a random girl haha. I need to work on drawing guys. :/

Happy Holidays!

Not drawing as much as I had hoped during my first week of break, but it's been nice to relax. :)

This year I drew some cheetahs for my sister (her favorite), and Tron for my Dad.

Camels & Horses

I wish I had done more, but they were fun to do. :) I can't believe the semester is over already! It's been crazy, but I really love it here.
